Yes we had that happen in Xalapa, Veracruz the other day - they suggested going to the money exchanger offices - very surprising as we have been changing dollars for five years here.
There is always the ATM - but this is a change for sure.
We are misplaced Alaskans living in Arizona and developing our dreams of living in Mexico. We currently have close friends living there right now. I enjoy reading Blogs about Mexico and Keith loves eating my Mexican cooking. So I thought why not do a bit of writing about both in a Blog? Regardless of having both our names on this, Chrissy will be doing the writing. Keith takes most of the photos. If they are good, they are his, if they are lousy, they are from my cell phone.

Very interesting and I think against the IMF code. I dont think you can tradeyour money on the world market and refuse that of a fellow IMF member.
