Kindle book device-price lowered.

Just and FYI for all my fellow book worms out there.

NEW YORK - Amazon.com Inc. cut the price of its Kindle electronic reading device to $299 on Wednesday in an effort to attract more bookworms and make the gadget a mainstream hit.
The new price is $60 below the tag the Kindle has had since May 2008. The product originally debuted at $399 in 2007.

  1. When it gets down around $100 usd I think I may be able to afford one. LOL. Kindles work in Mexico but you have to use some sort of work around because you can't download directly. I love the idea of kindles though!

  2. We don't own one but Paul went to Amazon and downloaded a free book to his iTouch and it came through instantly, so I think I am going to get a Kindle sometime this summer. We are going to the US in September, probably will get it then.

Now with that and the apple tv we are set for entertainment like crazy!

Thanks for the heads up. Do you own one?

I dont have one, but I thought it might be a good thing for those in areas that dont have much access books. I'm with you. I love the feel of a book, in fact I love the smell of them too. Is that weird?

  5. I wanted to get one for my magazine subscriptions. But none of my magazines are available. Maybe, if the price comes down, software will follow.
